Canvas material can only be stretched reliably by these bars, any other frames will not give the same professional finish and ability to alter the tension of your canvas. Our stretcher bars also keep the canvas off the frame with a raised lip around the outside of the frame. All frames come with tensioning pegs x 4, which are already fitted into frame. These tighten the frame when positioned further into the mitred edges, by simply tapping them in.
